A decorative bird feeder makes a nice addition to any lawn or garden, and it will bring nature to you. Set out a bird feeder where you can sit and watch, and you will be amazed by the activity. There will be a continuous stream of birds coming and going. You will see bird species that you had not even realized were near your home.
Before I set out my first bird feeder, I saw a beautiful red cardinal in a tree in my back yard about once per month. I set out a decorative bird feeder, and the next day I counted ten cardinals right outside my kitchen window. I had no idea there were so many cardinals in the trees in my yard. My yard began buzzing with the activity of dozens of birds visiting my new bird feeder, including many different bird species.
I found myself sitting and watching my new feathered friends as often as I could. I enjoyed it so much, I added another decorative bird feeder, a couple decorative birdhouses and a birdbath. Now, at anytime, I can take a few minutes out of my busy day and step into nature. My yard now has the relaxed feeling of a weekend cabin.
Decorative bird feeders can even be utilized if you live in a big city or apartment. You need very little space, and if you have food in the bird feeder, the birds will come. A decorative bird feeder will bring nature to you.
